How much does a car wrap cost in San Diego?
A full color-change wrap starts at around $2,800 and moves up from there with vehicle size, film choice and how much disassembly the job needs. Partial wraps, roof wraps and accent work cost considerably less. Send us your year, make and model and we will price your exact vehicle.
How long does a vinyl wrap last?
Five to seven years is the realistic window for a quality wrap that is hand washed and kept out of constant sun. San Diego daily drivers parked outside sit at the shorter end. Garage-kept cars regularly go past seven.
Will a wrap damage my paint?
No — the opposite. Quality vinyl protects the factory paint underneath from UV, light abrasion and road grime, and comes off cleanly when installed and removed correctly. That is why leased and resale-conscious owners choose wrap over a respray.
How long does the installation take?
A full wrap is typically three to five days in the shop. Partial wraps, roofs and accents are usually one to two days. We disassemble trim, handles and lights where needed so the film tucks properly instead of being trimmed at the edge.
Can I take a wrapped car through a car wash?
Hand washing is best. Skip brush-style automatic washes, which scuff the film and lift edges. Touchless washes are acceptable, and a two-bucket hand wash with a pH-neutral soap will get you the full lifespan out of the wrap.
What is the difference between a wrap and paint protection film?
A vinyl wrap changes how the car looks. Paint protection film is clear and changes how the car survives. Many customers do both — a color-change wrap over the body and PPF over the high-impact front end. See our paint protection film page for the details.
Do you wrap commercial vehicles and fleets?
Yes. Vans, trucks, trailers and full fleets are a large part of what we do, including design, print and install. Fleet pricing depends on vehicle count and coverage — get in touch with your list and we will quote it.
